Emancipate Your Mind: 055: Elements of Healthy Attachment In Relationships with Kevin Hales

  • by

“I know what is going wrong in my relationship, but how do I create a healthy relationship when I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before?”

One of you asked this question a couple of weeks ago after the podcast on setting boundaries with a narcissist. It’s such a valid question because we can’t create what we can’t envision.

In this episode, my husband and Licensed Professional Counselor, Kevin Hales and I discuss some of the elements of healthy attachments in adult relationships.

For the past 9 years, he’s helped couples heal hurt and pain in their marriages with Emotionally Focused Therapy which is founded in Attachment Theory.

This week we cover topics like safety to discuss emotions and desires, flexibility to grow and evolve, and setting healthy boundaries.
