Emancipate Your Mind: 048: The Benefits of Celebrating Yourself

Transcript

I can’t believe this is the last episode of season 1! How did this year go by so fast?

As we wrap up 10 months of discussions and healing, it’s so important to take some time and celebrate our wins along the journey.

Celebrating creates momentum. It lights a fire underneath us. And when it comes to healing religious trauma, a little spark in the dark can go a long way.

In this episode, we discuss why celebrating ourselves is so important and why sharing our celebrations with others not only helps us go further, but brings others on the journey with us.

Because I know the idea of celebrating ourselves can sometimes bring up subconscious religious limiting beliefs about vanity, arrogance, modesty, and humility, we also discuss the difference between arrogance and celebration.

I have loved getting to share and celebrate your wins with you this year and look forward to many more throughout the holiday season and into 2022!

The best is ahead of us.
But there the so much to celebrate now in the present.

I hope you’ll take the time to give yourself the celebration you deserve.
